A few months later, Mankatha's boss informed him that he had received an offer from another company which was located in another country with different laws and taxes. The company was willing to pay him a lot of money and was more than happy to employ him as a technician on one of their projects. As soon as he accepted the offer and had signed the contract, he walked out of the office and felt like a free man. When Mankatha had first come to Mumbai, he found it very hard to make friends with people who didn't know his language or understand his culture. However, he soon befriended some people who helped him find good work and accommodation.
